Ensemble Work

Ryan Marie is comfortable with general tumbling on hard and sprung floor such as handsprings, roundoffs, rolls, and a variety of dance-based movements. They have strong experience in partner and group acrobatics as a mid, flyer, and spotter including adagio, 3-highs, dance and parachute lifts, banquine, group pyramids, and dynamic sequences.

As a juggler, they are comfortable passing clubs in both static and dynamic patterns and have an understanding of siteswap notation for both solo juggling and passing. They have experience with navigating language barriers between juggling worlds and are able to match others’ rhythms.

While not an aerialist, Ryan Marie is comfortable in the air and possess a basic vocabulary on many apparatuses. They have worked with troupes combining and crossing disciplines such as Chinese pole, cyr wheel, German wheel, tightwire, and aerial rope, silks, hoop, and trapeze.

A competent stage-hand with an understanding of sound and lighting design, they’re proactive, adaptable, and confident in identifying and communicating safety concerns.

Ryan Marie is always seeking to learn new things and create new work. They would be delighted to talk with you about whether they’re the right fit for your project.
